Sandalwood essential oil is extracted from the core of the tree trunk and from the root, by steam distillation, being a precious oil, coming from the north-eastern part of Australia. The older the tree, the stronger its aroma and the more oil is produced. Sandalwood oil has been used since ancient times in spiritual rituals and religious ceremonies.
