Grapefruit essential oil is extracted from the peel of the fruit by cold pressing. It is a natural hybrid, between pomelo and orange, and has properties similar to those of Lemon essential oil. Grapefruit essential oil is successfully used in cosmetics and aromatherapy and has an extraordinary effect on the senses and mood.

It is phototoxic, do not expose yourself to the sun for the next 12 hours after using this essential oil. It is used only diluted in a vegetable oil or cosmetic product (about 2 drops of essential oil per 10ml of product). It is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetics, aromatherapy and perfumery. Avoid using it if it has oxidized, as it can be irritating. Essential oils do not expire but can oxidize due to non-compliance with optimal storage conditions (protected from light and stored in a cool place, away from heat).

How to use:
- as a massage oil: put 10-15 drops of Grapefruit essential oil in 30 ml carrier oil (jojoba, black cumin, avocado, coconut). Grapefruit essential oil is used together with cedar oil for a purifying effect on the body
- in the hot tub: add between 20-30 drops of Grapefruit essential oil, along with Himalayan or Epsom salt, for relaxation and purification
- as a diffuser blend: add 8 drops of Grapefruit essential oil, 6 drops of Bergamot and 3 drops of Cedar.
