Clove essential oil (Syzygium aromaticum) is obtained by steam distillation from the flower buds of the clove tree, an evergreen tree that can reach up to 12 meters in height, found mainly in Madagascar and Indonesia. With a warm, spicy and intense aroma, clove oil is one of the oldest and most prized oils in the world.
Its use dates back to ancient traditional Chinese medicine, where it was appreciated for its calming and invigorating properties. Rich in Eugenol (up to 85%), this natural compound is what gives the oil its therapeutic power and its characteristic fragrance, recognized for its soothing, stimulating and energetic purifying effects.
Being a strong and concentrated essential oil, nJoy Nature Clove oil is recommended to be used in small quantities and diluted with a carrier oil, to fully exploit its benefits in aromatherapy, massage or relaxation rituals.
