Cypress essential oil is extracted from the needles and young branches of the cypress tree by steam distillation. This is a tree with evergreen leaves, native to Asia, which never rots and is considered a sacred tree in many civilizations. Cypress oil is very useful in cases of fatigue or concentration, used since ancient times by Egyptians and Greeks, and today used as a purifier in spiritual rituals. It is emotionally uplifting and tonic on all levels, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Middle Note
Its aroma is woody and fresh, with shades of conifers. It has strong energizing and toning effects, with slightly grassy hues. It is a particularly exotic and refined aroma, slightly fruity.

Due to its estrogen-like effect, it is not recommended in mastosis or cancer (breast, ovary, endometrium). Avoid using it if it has oxidized, as it can be irritating. Essential oils do not expire but can oxidize due to non-compliance with optimal storage conditions (protected from light and stored in a cool place, away from heat). It is used only diluted in a vegetable oil or cosmetic product (about 2 drops of essential oil per 10ml of product). It is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetics, aromatherapy and perfumery.

How to use:
- as a massage oil: mix 15 drops in 30ml carrier oil, such as jojoba, avocado or almond and massage the skin or scalp with it
- in the hot tub: put 10-15 drops together with a cup of Epsom or Himalayan salt
- as a diffuserr blend: add 6 drops of Rosemary, 6 drops of Lemon and 3 drops of Cypress, to increase concentration and attention.
