Spikenard essential oil, also known as Jatamansi, Nard or Muskroot, is extracted from the root of the plant that grows wild especially in the Himalayan regions, but we also find it in Nepal, India or China. It is a powerful, protective biblical oil with a long history that is used during meditations, prayers and ceremonies, being an oil that grounds, centers and resonates with the root chakra. It is a calming and soothing oil that cools, restores and relaxes the whole body. It complements wonderfully with woody, spicy, herbaceous and floral oils and has an amber-like color.
