Coriander is an annual aromatic plant in the Apiaceae family, scientifically known as Coriandrum sativum. It is used both for its leaves, called cilantro, and for its seeds, which are used in cooking as a spice. Coriander leaves have a fresh, herbaceous and slightly spicy aroma, and are often used in salads, sauces and dishes from Mexican, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. The seeds, slightly spicy and aromatic, are used in spices, preserves or to produce essential oils with multiple therapeutic benefits.

Coriander seed essential oil is used by diffusion to support emotional and mental balance, by topical application only in diluted form for digestive support, muscle comfort and relaxation, and by inhalation for clarity and harmonization. It can be integrated into massage, aromatic baths or aromatherapy synergies, respecting the appropriate dilutions.

It is applied only diluted to the skin with a carrier oil, as it can be irritating in pure form.
Not recommended for use in the first trimester of pregnancy; thereafter, only with specialist advice.
Use with reduced dilutions in children and sensitive individuals.
Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and sensitive areas.
Do not administer internally without specialist supervision.
A tolerance test is recommended before first use.
