Aniseed essential oil is extracted from its seeds by steam distillation; it comes from the Middle East, but is now also found in Europe, the USA and North Africa. It has been used since antiquity, revered by the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Aniseed essential oil has a strong effect, similar to sweet cumin and is helpful in times of anxiety, being an oil that relaxes and calms.

Top Note
Sweet and rich, slightly spicy, it has a characteristic odor, similar to fennel. Its aroma of licorice is delightful and that is why it is often found in aromatherapy. It can give an exotic and spicy note to a blend and is an ideal oil used in the production of soaps, lotions or candles.

Calming, Fights migraines, Tonic & Energizing

Contraindicated for people with sensitive skin. It is used only diluted in a vegetable oil or cosmetic product (about 2 drops of essential oil per 10ml of product). It is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetics, aromatherapy and perfumery.

How to use:
- as a massage oil: mix 15 drops in 30ml carrier oil, such as jojoba, avocado or almond and massage the skin or scalp with it
- in the hot tub: put 10-15 drops together with a cup of Epsom or Himalayan salt
- as a diffuser blend: add 9 drops of Aniseed essential oil, with 6 drops of Lemon and 1 drop of Peppermint.
